It's better for you to buy more kind of jewelry with the same money, then wholesale jewelry without MOQ is the best choise. You can even buy one piece of each design. The unique is sometimes the selling point of the jewelry.

Jimmy Johns Labor Dispute Bursts onto National Stage with Coast-to-Coast Actions Planned for Labor Day
Fast Food Union Campaign Escalates as Management Refuses to Meet with Workers
MINNEAPOLIS- Faced with the refusal of Jimmy Johns franchise owners Mike and Rob Mulligan to meet with their employees to discuss demands for improvements to working
conditions, the IWW Jimmy Johns Workers Union announced today that it will coordinate a nation-wide Week of Action beginning on Labor Day at Jimmy Johns locations across the United States to pressure the Mulligans to come to the table.
“If Mike and Rob won't just sit down and meet with us, we feel we have no other choice but to put pressure on them to listen. We are going to show Jimmy John's corporate that if they don't ensure that their franchise owners are respecting their employees, there will be consequences at the national level,” said Emily Przybylsky, a union member in Minneapolis.
The Jimmy Johns Workers Union will draw on the extensive network of the Industrial Workers of the World labor organization to coordinate the actions. Informational pickets and leafleting are planned so far in 32 of 39 states in which Jimmy Johns operates, with more to come.
In Minneapolis, the Union plans a series of actions over the weekend culminating in a Labor Day Rally and free concert featuring local Hip Hop icons Guante and I Self Divine.
The national corporate headquarters of Jimmy Johns has yet to respond to the unionization campaign, the first at the expanding sandwich empire. The union effort could have profound implications for other employers in the fast food industry, a sector known for the lowest rate of unionization– and lowest wages– in the United Sates. Only 1.8% of food service workers were represented by a union in 2009, far below the nation-wide figure of 12.3%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The question of unionization of the food and service industries is assuming greater focus as employment in these non-union sectors increases, while manufacturing, the traditional stronghold of unionization, continues to decline.
The demands of the IWW Jimmy Johns Workers Union include a pay increase to above minimum wage, consistent scheduling and minimum shift lengths, regularly scheduled breaks, sick days, no-nonsense workers compensation for job-related injuries, an end to sexual harassment at work, and basic fairness on the job.
The Jimmy Johns Workers Union, open to employees at the company nationwide, is affiliated with the Industrial Workers of the World labor union. Gaining prominence in recent years for organizing Starbucks workers, the IWW is a global union founded over a century ago for all working people.

The federal government is putting more money into the hands of college students than ever before and much of the impetus behind it is the No Child Left Behind Act. The measures help to assure that more primary and secondary schools are held accountable for making sure kids get the attention and education they deserve without prejudices. Which means a much higher percentage of high school students are earning diplomas. More students stand a chance of attending college when the right financial and social resources are available to them along with educators with the know-how and experience to guide them to the right academic and career choices.

Google & Verizon Plan Would End Free, Public Internet as We Now Know It
Interview with Craig Aaron, managing director of Free Press, conducted by Scott Harris
After years of debate between giant telecommunication companies and public advocates on the need to protect free, public access to the Internet -- qualities which make this communications platform such a hot house for innovation and vibrant democratic discourse -- the issue seems to be coming to a head. While the Federal Communications Commission dithered in taking steps to safeguard an open Internet, often referred to as Net Neutrality, Google and Verizon were in negotiations to develop their own vision of how the Internet will function in the future.
In an Aug. 9 announcement, Google and Verizon put forward a joint policy proposal that envisions two "Internets," one public and one private. The private Internet would provide a fast lane to content for those who could afford it, with lots of bells and whistles if you pay to play. Everyone else would be relegated to a slower and lower quality of service on the wired public Internet. The Google-Verizon proposal would eliminate the concept of Net Neutrality on wireless networks, the destination most observers believe the Internet as a whole is rapidly moving toward, and at the same time weaken the FCC's ability to effectively regulate the Internet.
The media reform group Free Press has for years been actively engaged in the fight for Net Neutrality. Free Press -- along with other national organizations in a Save the Internet Coalition -- is urging President Obama, Congress and FCC to reject the Google-Verizon proposal and instead pass strong Net Neutrality protections. Between The Lines' Scott Harris spoke with Craig Aaron, managing director of Free Press, who examines the Google-Verizon proposal, and who describes the campaign now underway to defend a free and open Internet.

Mountaintop Removal Coal Mining No. 1 Issue for West Virginia's U.S. Senate Candidate
Interview with Ken Hechler, candidate to replace West Virginia's late U.S. Sen. Robert C. Byrd, recorded and produced by Melinda Tuhus
A long-time West Virginia politician and progressive activist is running in the Democratic primary Aug. 28th against incumbent Gov. Joe Manchin to be the party’s candidate in the Nov. 2 special election to replace the late U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd. Ken Hechler, who will be 96 in September, was born in New York, earned a Ph.D. in history and government from Columbia University and held several jobs before moving to West Virginia in 1957. The next year, he won his first election to Congress, and served in the House from 1959 to 1977. After leaving his House seat, he served as West Virginia's secretary of state from 1985 to 2001.
The former legislator has been a long-time foe of surface coal mining, introducing legislation to abolish it in the early 1960s. He was also principal sponsor of the 1969 Coal Mine Health and Safety Act. In 2000, he walked more than 500 miles with the late Doris "Granny D" Haddock on her cross-country walk to promote campaign finance reform, something he believed was urgently needed due to the disproportionate contributions of coal company officials to West Virginia politicians.
Between The Lines' Melinda Tuhus caught up with Hechler by phone as he traveled around his state calling for an end to mountaintop removal mining and seeking votes in the upcoming election.

Economic Sanctions Target Most Vulnerable, Rarely Achieve Political Objectives
Interview with Joy Gordon, professor of philosophy at Fairfield University, conducted by Scott Harris
After the 1991 U.S.-coalition war against Saddam Hussein's Iraq, following his invasion of neighboring Kuwait, Washington succeeded in imposing a severe economic embargo against Iraq, administered by the U.N., that remained in effect until President Bush's 2003 invasion and overthrow of Hussein's regime. By many accounts, the post-Persian Gulf War sanctions against Iraq resulted in a humanitarian catastrophe, where basic services such as health care, water treatment, agriculture and education were crippled.
As Fairfield University professor of philosophy Joy Gordon recounts in her new book: "Invisible War: The U.S. and Iraq Sanctions," between 670,000 and 880,000 Iraqi children under the age of five died as a result of the sanctions. Gordon maintains that the suffering borne by the Iraqi people under the U.N. sanctions -- mostly driven by American policy -- served to strengthen, not weaken Saddam's hold on power.
Now with growing concern within the U.N. Security Council that Iran is engaged in a covert nuclear weapons program, the U.S. is pushing for ever harsher sanctions against the Islamic Republic. President Obama has proclaimed that the "smart sanctions," he's advocating against Iran will avoid indiscriminately harming the innocent. Between The Lines' Scott Harris spoke with professor Gordon, who explains why she believes economic sanctions targeting nations for their behavior, whatever the label, are ineffective at motivating change and result in harm to innocent civilians.

New Transitional Federal Law Provides Health Insurance to Patients with Pre-existing Conditions
Interview with Jennifer Jaff, executive director, Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illness, conducted by Melinda Tuhus
As part of health care reform law passed last March, federal regulations were issued on July 30 for a new temporary insurance plan in all states for adults with pre-existing medical conditions and no health insurance. Thirty states are inaugurating their own plans, while in the other 20 states' plans will be administered directly by the federal government. Advocates say the new program is a major improvement over the status quo, where such insurance coverage was astronomically expensive and thus out of reach for most of those in need.
But the new insurance plans are still expensive. They will remain in place until 2014, when all insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions will be handled under the federal healthcare reform legislation. Children with pre-existing conditions are already covered.
Between The Lines' Melinda Tuhus spoke with Jennifer Jaff, executive director of the Connecticut-based group, Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illness, which provides free information and advocacy to people seeking advice on how to secure and retain health insurance coverage. She talks about how the new federal system will work for people with pre-existing conditions and what challenges remain.
